EDIT: to add RosesAreRed777 whi is running York 10k on Sunday. Her second event, so another growing medal collection. Good luck and enjoy!!!
It may be August, it may be hot, but our racers still need our support!
Grab your pom poms folks. We need to don our sunnies, our hats, our sunscreen and our water bottles. There is work to be done!
At the moment we know of just one fabulous VRB heading for a start line this weekend, so let's get our pompoms waving and create a cooling, cheering breeze and wave of support for:
drl212 who will be running the Clapham Common 5k on Sunday. Two flat laps of Clapham Common, with a 'testing' final 75m, will be a challenge if the forecast temperatures prevail, so be sure to hydrate well dr212 then go out and smash it! That brand new medal looks to be an awesome one to add to your collection! Bon courage, enjoy!!!
If we've missed anyone else racing this coming weekend, please let us know in the comments below.
We love to support each and every one of you, so if you have a running event coming up later this month, please do let us know here so we can cheer you on too healthunlocked.com/marathon...
Go out and have fun drl212 ! Weβre all here eagerly awaiting your race report, and Iβll start waving my sunny West Country pom poms right now to waft you on your way! π
Enjoy your run drl212 . βTestingβ may be a euphemism for βdiabolically hardβ , so keep some energy in the tank for the end . Look forward to hearing how you get on. Hope it isnβt too π₯΅
Pom Poms waving for you drl212 πππ. Wishing you cooler temperatures than weβre currently getting in the south βοΈ. Have a great run and bring back the blingπ₯ ! π
I hope you both have memorable and enjoyable runs. That weather looks to be just a little warm but hopefully it will be cooler by the time you reach the street line. Have fun π
