LAST POM-POMS OF THE YEAR! 🥳🎉

Let’s make it a fabulously loud send-off to 2023 as we wave a final flourish of pompoms for these amazing VRBs as they head out to their races this weekend.

⭐️On Saturday, aliboo70 will be tackling The Abominable Snowman with a choice of distances, either a 10K or a 10 miler. The organisers say, “whichever distance you choose, it will be wet, it will be muddy, it will be cold and it will be steep”. Oh….er….

There will be natural obstacles which will make for the most challenging of extreme cross-country runs. What a way to end 2023. Indeed!

Gird your loins and go forth Ali. We are right with you and we know you’ll do it 💪

⭐️ On Sunday we see Jogger22 running the amazing San Silvestre Vallecana 10K in Madrid. This road race has been around since 1964 and has a fun run as well as an elite run. Apparently it is one of the city’s foremost annual running events and promises a great atmosphere and a memory to treasure.

We’d love to have a race report afterwards Jogger.

⭐️ Also on Sunday Time_Lord will be running the Shrewsbury NYE Midnight Run. How’s this for an atmospheric run? On the stroke of midnight on NYE the runners will start their runs as they make their way through fireworks and sounds of “Auld Lang Syne”. What a fabulous way to start a new year! Enjoy it all TL and soak up the atmosphere.

Thanks Linda, not done this for a few years,have downgraded to the 10k with a group of Tuesday club friends for company ! Have tweaked my back a bit but hoping to make it round. The pond us no longer a feature of the race! 🤣👍xxx
