Did this today in preparation for Sunday’s London 10K. I did intend to run 10K but felt a little hint of cramp and so decided not to push myself through the last 2K and save my legs for Sunday. I haven’t been doing any distance running recently but mainly HIT training, including Boxfit and a fair bit of walking too. My weight is slowly coming off, though I’m not doing the 16:8 IF as regularly as I was and still eating carbs. All in all I feel healthy and there’s a good balance. Full steam ahead for Sunday where I’ll have to be mindful of the heat as 28 degrees has been forecast, though we’ll all be off by 9:45.

How many 10K 's does London have?, there seems to be several a year, anyway, congratulations to you Dodgylungs on completing that 8K in preparation for the London 10K, well done, you were wise in not pushing yourself, good luck for your run this Sunday, the temperature is to go to 28C in London, but that's in the afternoon after your 🏃🏾 👍

Is that the Asics 10k? Saving yourself for the weekend sounds like a good call, especially in those temperatures. Good luck!!!
You must keep up your magnesium to avoid cramp.
