So today I ran 9k, which is the furthest I'm going to go before the HM on Sunday. Did 5k on Mon and planning to do 3k on Friday, just to keep me limbered up!
Had a slight pain behind back of my knee, which I assume is hamstring related, but otherwise the run was OK, although my calves are a bit achy now. I can't wait till this is all over and I can stop thinking constantly about how my legs feel!!!
Because of the 'bincident' I have some big knots in my back, so I splashed out on a massage gun, which seemed to be doing a good job in the hands of my daughter last night. It's got a tool on it that resembles a physioterrorist's pointy finger that gets right into the knots.
I know I'm supposed to eat pasta the night before the run. A big meal? And I'm thinking porridge in the morning...?
