London Winter Run

The weather was quite chilly this morning, with a biting cold wind in places around central London.

While my official time wasn’t earth-shattering at 1:22:52, it was great to be out with other runners on my first live event of the year.🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

As always, the atmosphere was great and everyone was friendly and supportive! 👏👏 The organisation was great as you’d expect. The marshals were fantastic and the cheering of total strangers gave me a much-needed lift from time to time. The penguins, huskies and polar bears and various bands and choirs provided excellent support too.

I didn’t have my phone as it’s broken, but I’d already signed up for some photos from the official photographer, which I’ve attached (if I’ve worked it out right!)😊

I’m pretty sure I’ll sign up for next year fairly soon. Thanks everyone for your encouragement!👍
