Look what arrived for me today 👀 Another pair of shoes 😅 But these are no ordinary running shoes and I can’t wait to get back tomorrow to try them out! Well I won’t be actually trying them out till Monday as they can only be worn on the track and that’s my club night.

I posted a pic earlier in the thread if that’s what you mean?

I won’t be trying these out on Monday now as they’re too big. I need a snug fit in spikes and my usual running shoe sizing is larger. I wish I’d realised this when I ordered them 😖 whether they’ll have any left in my size in stock is in the hands of the gods right now. 🤷‍♂️

Thank you 😊 Track spikes are a whole other world of running shoes as I’m discovering to my liking 😊😀Sprinting spikes (100m-400m) require a very rigid outsole and the plate, which runs the length of the shoe, is very strong, with little flex, to allow for maximum propulsion, especially through the start and drive phases. There is almost no heel cushion as no time is spent on your heels during the sprint. You can’t tell I’m really quite excited by the prospect of trying them out 😂😂😂
