Cannot wait to run tomorrow morning. Going to try out my new Trail Shoes ... they are so pretty. I went up another half size so these are a full size bigger than my normal size 7 shoes —. 8s instead of 7.5s.
Hopefully this should stop me rubbing blisters on my second toes again. 🤞
Thought I’d put a pic up before they got dirty but just realised where my legs have got freckly this year ( where everyone else’s just tan ☹️) they look hairy in the pic but they are not I assure you.

Ooh, fab! You were wise to go up in size as Asics run narrow. Fantastic soles on them. Asics trail shoes are the business. Can’t see any hairiness 😊
All my other ( only 3 pairs ..honest guvnor) running shoes are ASICS and I’ve been fine with going up half a size but now I’m doing longer runs my feet are swelling more and after my first toe blisters I thought it was wiser to up a whole size
I’m also going running shoes shopping with my son who has foolishly entered Mission Unbreakable, with a team from his gym, “ well I ran for 15 mins in the treadmill the other day and that was ok”. It’s in early October so, as he’s just moved back in with me, we will be going running together for a while 😁
Should be interesting as he’s nearly 6ft and I’m only 5ft5....
Also, with trails, there is often more pressure on the front of your foot: downhill bits, rough ground etc.
Haha, I have four pairs of running shoes too. I think anyone who has or has had injuries to legs or feet is wise to rotate shoes!
