Wore my gloves and light running jacket for the first time and was glad of it.. fingers were cold.. reminds me I should invest in some warmer gloves for winter.. can be uncomfortable with nipping hands!
Warmed up and kept a good pace throughout and managed under 7 min Ks on my last two..to finish just 40 seconds slower than my PB ππββοΈπ₯
So great start to my day π
Happy Running all ππββοΈπ

Good run for you this morning Caroline, it's lovely running in the cool of Autumn, your 10K and 10 miles run times are fairly similar to mine although unlike you I have not run a Half Marathon.I ran my 26th parkrun this morning at The University of Stirling Parkrun, it was their 2nd birthday, after the run I was treated to a couple of Cup Cakes, nice.
The cupcakes were lovely, regarding parkrun birthdays, I was just thinking that Drumpellier Parkrun, that's the one that I seem to get PB's have not even celebrated their first birthday, their first run was Saturday 27th July 2019, however, because of Covid 19 there were no runs on that date in 2020 or 2021, so they will have to wait until 2022, next year to celebrate their first birthday, I hope to be there.
Of course, with Costco being like they are, what's in the warehouse this week is not necessarily going to be there next week. They're not quite as bad for that as Lidl, though.
Sounds like a great run that early. As for gloves, I bought a pair of fingerless gloves with a 'cap' hanging on the back that you can pull over your fingers if it is too cold. I love them because my hands can get a bit hot during a run and then I can slip the 'cap' off and cool my fingers.
