The week so far (7 weeks to go on NRC HM plan) has saw a 15 min recovery run that turned into a 5k recovery run, 2x2hour visits to the gym for a mix of weights and cardio, my first ever spin class (wow that was tough!) And today so far has brought interval runs 10x2min@5k pace with one minute walks between, did just over 6k in total and still managed a sub 30 5k despite walking a third of it π€£.
Tried a few times to upload pic of splits but not working π€ il add it in comments below
Oh yeah, can't remember who brought up NRC being bad at tracking distance the other day but I can confirm it today recorded my over 6k run as just over 4k π€£π€£π€£

I've actualy stopped using nrc last few runs, as wanted me to log in, etc, so just been using strava, which was playing up, with some strange times, but seems ok at the moment!
Mine are chihuahuas so don't need much walking π€£ mammy dog and 2 pups and there no bother at all, pups almost 6 weeks so havnt reached the really naughty stage yet π€£
I learned to run because of a hound dawg I couldnβt keep up with. He was rufty tufty πso I used him to recce runs where I might be a tad nervous alone. We went miles together in all weathers and I owe him such a lot. Heβs too old now to go on long adventures as we used to but we still get out together I love him to bits π.
That's so nice! I wish mine would like a long walk or run but we certainly got the wrong breed for that π€£ sleeping and eating with the odd burst of play is as much as mine manage π€£
Well done Jericho, thatβs a fun one isnβt it? ππ I always go by the NRC distance even when my Garmin tells me Iβm done. It added 0.5k to my 13.1k run on Sunday, but Iβd always rather run a bit too far than come up short.
A busy week! Have a look at your phone GPS settings - you may be able to improve the NRC accuracy that way. NRC can only work with what your phone gives it. Still, at least the timed runs will be accurate π
