Indoor: 15 minute Recovery Run.
I was going to skip this run today in favour of doing the 45 minute recovery run that I'm due to do tomorrow, as I took an extra rest day yesterday in the hope it would help my groin, which I now believe is a sports hernia. I"m glad I didn't skip it as I really need these shorter runs to get my head back into running and when you're training to run a half marathon, somehow a 15 minute run feels like a luxury that I don't want to miss out on.
This week is going to be tough: I have hill workouts and a long speed workout (the day after my 8 mile run - that ain't happening without a rest day). The 8mile run will be a challenge but I have done that distance before. So we will see how my body and mind holds up this week.
