Little did I know where C25K would take me!

It’s 3 years ago today that I started Couch to 5k! I clearly didn’t know where it would take me. If someone had said, I would never have believed them! Total life changing decision and the best thing I ever did. Happy runniversary to me! 🤣

Happy Runniversary Tasha, you’ve come a long way in three years! Many congratulations. My own three-year runniversary is only a few months away, but I never made it beyond HM distance and have been struggling with “lockdown loss of mojo” since the pandemic hit.

Yes, we are still following each other on Strava and she is out most days. She joined a local running club and has never looked back! Probably my fave ever run was the June 2019 Bournemouth 10k when Berksrover and I went down there to meet up with Alka and other of our VRBs, and had a terrific “run in the sun” along the cliffs and beach. Happy days 😀

The last year’s low heart rate training has helped me progress a lot 👍🏽 I’ve ran three times a week without fail since starting (one I only ran twice but that was after a marathon 🥴🤣)

Happy runniversary to you Tasha99, from C25K to MARATHON, excellent, 2018 was a big year for many here on those forums who started running, including myself, however, ten miles is my longest distance.

Well, I was thought of thinking perhaps I could run another 10 miles and see if I could then extend it to HM, however, the way my leg is playing up, yesterday I had to walk for the first time ever, my 49th virtual (not) parkrun, I have a mild form of sciatica on my right leg, that will need to go first before any thoughts of running 10K, 10 miles or more, I just hope it won't be too long before I can get back to running, so I will have to declare myself as being on the IC for the moment.
