Last run of 2020

Hi everyone, I've just been keeping on the same. Keeping out there and consistent as normal and my December mileage reached 128 miles after today's run. I've had a great end to the year with a 10k PB (51.55) last week and my second fastest HM today. Yearly total of 1036 miles. Loved my first year of running and look forward to running free next year too.

My goodness! You've sure racked up the miles. I dont know how you do it or find the time. Well done though. Have a Happy New Running Year when it comes!

By comparison, I just did my last run of 2020 too - a mere 6.17km which takes me to a total of 56.79km for December, or 35.49 miles. I challenged myself to do a total of 25 miles - so that's a win in my book.

Absolutely! If you can be as consistent as possible (whatever that looks like for you) then the real freedom of running shines brighter. I will probably slow down a little and maybe not run as far but my 3x per week are set in stone. You're going great 😊

🙂🙂🙂 Thank you. You are right. I'm much happier longer and don't actually like the 5k or 10k distance at all. I hadn't ran that distance quickly for over 6 months so thought I'd get it out of the way 🙈 I can be a bit zippy but prefer longer. I've done 10 HM's this year and almost 20 other runs of over 10 miles which is where I'm happiest.
