Poppy Run 2020

Hi VRBs, I ran my Poppy Run along the seafront at Bognor Regis this morning. There were a few other Poppy Runners out there too which was pleasing.🙂👍

I didn’t have time to go home to collect last year’s Poppy Run t-shirt so I designed my own running bib. I hope you like it!

I listened to a recording of the Remembrance Service from the cenotaph on Sunday, and stopped for the 2-minute silence down by the sea.

I wanted to run 11.11km given the date, but I ended up with 11.12km😣 Despite my best efforts, I can’t seem to crop the run on Strava🙁

Not to worry, I’ve raised over £100 for the Royal British Legion, which was the purpose of the run.

Well done David, and an excellent idea to run 11.11km. It’s really good to see other Poppy runners along your route isn’t it? Loving the race bib that you created too.

We are hoping that we will be able to run in the Southampton Poppy Run next year.
