This evening I did this week's (not)parkrun, as I want to rest my legs before Sunday's virtual marathon. Even though it was at 5 pm, it was pitch black. I ran on our usual (not)parkrun course. Unlike most paths in Oslo, this one isn't lit, but there are lights on the street next to the path. This means that it's a bit dimmer than usual, and there were two sections that were particularly dark. Not to mention that the path is slightly lower than the street, so you get dazzled by the cars driving past you. Things got even more exciting as the fog rolled in. By the end of our run, visibility was pretty poor.
I did my run as an interval session, and ended up with a 16 second (not)parkrun PB!
I don't plan to do any more running before Sunday (my winning formula from way back in October), but will be walking every day, so I'll have distances to report for the challenge.
