I recently invested in a pair of Korkers winter ice cleats and they held up pretty well in our last drop if snow and subsequent overnight ice freeze. These particular ones use the boa lock system which I really like, since my old ones used to fall off all the time. They also use very small spikes which feel ok on pavement. I think many users would be familiar with Yak Trax too. Dec-Feb will be the real test for these ones. But no falls as of yet. ππΌβοΈ

Haha. We have it quite mild compared with Saskatchewan. Weβll get 10cm and they will get 40! Sask deals with capital βWβ weather over there on the Praries!
This sounds like a deal. London rarely gets anything that passes on as snow but ice patches can be knee-breakers on a bad day. Nice one mate, I'll look these up! π
Yes ice black patches are the worst. My friend had a bad fall on the ice yesterday and may be out for many weeks, so this is a bit more timely for me now.
Those are nice π. I like my yak trax but with the coils, they work best with packed snow. I have some cheapies from Costco with small spikes I like but they can slip off. Where did you get those? I'll have to look into getting some when I wear out my others.
Yes I had the Costco ones too and they kept falling off also. These were from a local run shop called Running Free. You could order from their site too: korkers.com/collections/ice...
