Come back from injury

I posted about my injury 3 months back here healthunlocked.com/marathon...

It took much longer than I was expecting, it gone bad after a week and hospital's minor injury dept refused to see , saying you just need to clean it and put new plaster, do it at Home. Thanks to my friend and his wife , they forcefully took me to another hospital where I was treated well, few small stones were inside which they took out (it was painful). I was limping for about a month and half..

Anyways.. I am back running about 20 days back.. and yesterday I ran my longest distance and duration, 23km in 3 hours. Though it was my slowest but I am happy that returning after 2 month from injury and running HM distance in 20 days of that is an achievement in itself.

Thanks for everyone here for supporting, encouraging and everything else.

Wow, it's brilliant to be back at that distance already - you must be so, so pleased. What a good job you went for a second opinion!!!

Yeah.. I am so happy to be back on running track. But this time I am more careful about my steps on uneven surface. Cut down on pace to run longer.

What a comeback jrunner. Great run, distance and time. I'm glad you got a second opinion from another hospital, you obviously needed medical attention.

Well done👏👏

You're not that far away from me either and it looks a perfect running route.

Thanks 😀

Yes I love this route along with Forth and Clyde canal. It's beautiful in colors ☺️

Thanks!

Yes, I learned a lesson about second opinion. I am the kind of person who believe whatever doctors says and never go for second opinion. It's my wife, friend and his wife who took me second hospital forcefully (seeing my condition), otherwise I can't imagine.
