France goes back into lockdown at midnight tonight until 1st December minimum
As outdoor exercise is limited to a maximum of one hour a day within 1km radius of home, none of my usual running routes works, even for 5k. So not entirely sure what I'm going to do, other than try to get out there while staying legal.
The irony is that I very rarely meet people while I'm out running, especially on my longer runs along tiny roads and forest tracks.
Sympathy to all those faced with a similar situation.

Ohh no! You must feel so frustrated. A week or so will be a good rest for your body, but beyond that it's hard to find the silver lining. Maybe time for some core work or some calming yoga? I hope December brings much better news. Take care.
Thank you to everybody for being so understanding.
I only started running when France's first lockdown ended, and back then would never have imagined being in the current situation. Apart from the second wave of Covid and hence the new lockdown, the idea of me posting to a Marathon Running and Race Support forum to express sadness and frustration about not being able to run for more than an hour would've made my head explode!
There is, however, good news - I got out this evening. Will post separately about that so I can share a pic too
