After feeling pretty chuffed at running 11 miles this morning, this evening I received the inevitable news that the Cov Half won’t take place on 1st Nov. Runners have the option for a refund, deferral to the new date in March 2021, or running a virtual race. Details on the virtual race are sketchy at present, but I am tempted by this, as I think I am as fit now as I am likely to get! Hoping that they clarify things a little over the next few days.
On a positive note, after this morning’s run, I have managed to achieve 100kms of walking and 100 kms of running during September, which is probably a new record for me😊

Another disppointment, but virtual is worth doing in my opinion - you've done all the training and you deserve a medal!!! Your poor feet - 100km walking and another 100k running, phew!!!
👏👏👏👏
Go for the virtual and you'll be great. Take what you deserve and what you've trained for 😁
