Half marathon 1st November

Hi, I'm going to do the half marathon with you all but also with New York Virtual Half! Feels a bit like cheating to do a run for two different groups at the same time. It will be SO difficult to do it on my own without the support of a real race (Valencia and Barcelona). Can anybody do it with me? We can share practice runs and support each other... Let me know, please! Trying to set up my language school's new course with all the Covid-19 restrictions and really need a running group (or 1 or 2 people) to do this run with. Thank you!!!

I think it's great doing it alone as it's just you against the distance. Good luck for it as Half Marathon distance is a brilliant milestone. I think lots of people on here are doing it. Best wishes to you 😊

I've got to do mine by 30th October (virtual Oxford HM) or I'd happily join you. Have a read thru roseabi's post on Monday - lots of people added their HM dates in the comments so you might find one or more match there. I will however spectate and cheer you on - both in training and on the 1st. Listen carefully and you might just hear me 😀. Good luck!!!

I’ve thought it through and have decided that it’s a bit too soon after my last one. I’m pretty injury-prone and so this might be tempting fate.

I hope there’s someone from the HM group here who can do it with you, otherwise you could post here with your regular updates and we can cheer you along the way. Have fun and good luck 🍀

November 1st is my 40th wedding anniversary. In the days of normal we were actually going to New York to celebrate. Now we'll probably have a takeaway pizza on the sofa.
