It seems to come around quite quickly at the moment - but Tuesday was an easy paced 5k trailπ, so I am trying to balance my runs out. Despite this, on the second day since school broke up, it did take a certain discipline to get myself over to our Parkrun course and train on my 'favourite' hill! Can't lie - it was hard work (in the sunshine againβοΈ) and running on to finish my 5k after 8 repeats on the hill was tough BUT I did kind of enjoy pushing myself and I do think it is making me stronger! ππ

Hill day again! ππ½ββοΈ
Well done Sandraj39 that sounds like a great effort!πͺ Iβve started doing interval training recently but I must get some hill repeats in soon!ππ
Well done Sandra, itβs all miles in the tank to make you stronger.
Hills are great as you know Sandra. I think that I need another week of flattish rehab runs before I start heading for the slopes again. Good for reducing stride and quickening cadence. Wonβt be doing 8 repeats though....,amazing!πππ
Great stuff Sandra. Itβs not running up the hills that feels good, but afterwards the sense of achievement is second to none I think. Well done! ππββοΈπβοΈ
I love the way you mention sort of casually that you have a βfavourite hillβ π«π₯΅
Go Sandra πͺπ
π ...it was slightly tongue in cheek!
Actually, OH and me are planning to go to my βreal all time favourite hillβ for a run next week! There is a church right at the top and the views are stunning. It will be interesting as although I have done lots of walking there, I have never run there. I will definitely post photos!
Mmmm...... hills!
Well done Sandra! Iβve been away from the hills for a while now. Looking forward to your βepic viewsβ hill run post!
It's the challenge and the pride of doing it regardless of the fact that it's flippin hard that keeps us coming back for more ππββοΈ
Congrats on conquering your hills again π
Brilliant focus and determination! I'm VERY impressed! Quite the holiday π
