Hill day again! πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈ

It seems to come around quite quickly at the moment - but Tuesday was an easy paced 5k trailπŸ™‚, so I am trying to balance my runs out. Despite this, on the second day since school broke up, it did take a certain discipline to get myself over to our Parkrun course and train on my 'favourite' hill! Can't lie - it was hard work (in the sunshine againβ˜€οΈ) and running on to finish my 5k after 8 repeats on the hill was tough BUT I did kind of enjoy pushing myself and I do think it is making me stronger! πŸ™πŸ™‚

Well done Sandraj39 that sounds like a great effort!πŸ’ͺ I’ve started doing interval training recently but I must get some hill repeats in soon!πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Well done Sandra, it’s all miles in the tank to make you stronger.

Hills are great as you know Sandra. I think that I need another week of flattish rehab runs before I start heading for the slopes again. Good for reducing stride and quickening cadence. Won’t be doing 8 repeats though....,amazing!πŸ™‚πŸ‘πŸ‘

Thank you - they are short repeats but still feel like hard work!!

Great stuff Sandra. It’s not running up the hills that feels good, but afterwards the sense of achievement is second to none I think. Well done! πŸŽ‰πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘Šβ˜€οΈ

I love the way you mention sort of casually that you have a β€œfavourite hill” 😫πŸ₯΅

Go Sandra πŸ’ͺπŸ™‚

πŸ˜‚ ...it was slightly tongue in cheek!

Actually, OH and me are planning to go to my β€˜real all time favourite hill’ for a run next week! There is a church right at the top and the views are stunning. It will be interesting as although I have done lots of walking there, I have never run there. I will definitely post photos!

It's the challenge and the pride of doing it regardless of the fact that it's flippin hard that keeps us coming back for more πŸ‘ŠπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ
