The sun was shining βοΈbut there was plenty of shade to be found and a nice breeze too! I am so lucky to have some lovely runs on my doorstep but this is my absolute favourite spot.ππ½ββοΈπ I have photos of this old railway bridge throughout the seasons! Took this one on this morning's 12k.π

Sounds like a great run in beautiful surroundings Sandraj39 πββοΈπ
Gorgeous!!!!
Definitely a perfect long, steady run day today. It really does look a lovely spot. Great to be out there nurturing the soul π
Lovely pic Sandraj. My everyday run along a disused railway line takes me under a road bridge, and I like the tree shaded section beyond; great for protection form sun wind rain and hail. Even better, on the back lap, it is only 5 minutes from my Flat White station!! Nice run π
12k is a really good distance and slow and steady too. Hope you felt ok after.
Looks a gorgeous place to run and shade definitely a bonus today π well done on your 12 km πββοΈ
Oh thatβs beautiful Sandraj39 ! What a fantastic place to run. ππππ
That looks idyllic S39. Do you think Dr Beeching was a secret runner?
I do love a disused railway line for running! We took Oldgirlruns to the Hayling Billy Trail last week- it was her first run out of Southsea. I love running there throughout the seasons and take lots of pics of flora and fauna. I wonder if it joined on to your railway line?
When the govt announced it was going to reopen some old branch lines I was thinking that a lot of running/cycling trails Will be lost, but they have too much on their plate for that now.
