Well these look fun!

Mrs N was quite shocked to see I had bought shoes with flowers on, and to be honest, so am I, but ya know what, I kinda like it. They're listed as Brooks 'Tropical Collection' so I can dream of paradise beaches and palm trees as I run in the good ol' British weather.

Now, they look good, but do they run good? I guess only time will tell, and I cant wait to get that time started.

Ooo B&R, I have Brooks Revel 3 too - but in rather underwhelming black and white. I do love yours! 😍 I hope you find them as comfy as I do. I bought them as they discontinued my trusty Revel 2’s. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

I've been wearing Glycerin16s which are more comfy than my slippers! I wanted to replace them with a new pair but couldnt afford the price tag of the new 18s and the 17s in the sale still didnt come in budget.

These were a super bargain so thought I'd give them a try. First impressions are that they aren't as comfy as the Glycerins (I guess you get what you pay for afterall) but they are still very comfortable. Cant wait to put them through their paces.

I see you got your HM badge, do you wear Revels for long distance? I'm really hoping they will be just as good for a 5K Parkrun (When they finally return) as well working towards my goal of a Half and Full Marathon.

Oh yes, I trained for, then ran the Bath Half virtually back in March through the streets of Bristol in the lashing rain, and never even once thought of my feet. I’m a neutral gait runner and was recommended the Revel 2’s when I had my gait analysis at the beginning of last year. I’ve never had foot problems *touch wood* except for a couple of black toenails - and they were after long distances in my trail shoes. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

[misswobble Marathon]

Life is too short to be grey. I pointed this out to my husband when he was choosing a colour scheme for his man cave. He wanted a white ceiling. No!! It’s not a clinic but a place of relaxation. It’s now a lovely dark petrel blue Tick ✅.

When you lace up those shoes you’ll be smiling 😃👍. Here’s to many happy miles together 🥂.
