Looking forwards and upwards, I plan on being in the UK in the autumn, September/October and looking for an event. Now I realize that these events might or might not take place, heck I might not even be travelling but let's be optimistic. What would your event choice be?

cheekychipmunks and I have entered the Bristol Half on 27 September but we’re keeping everything crossed it still goes ahead 🤞

Bristol could be a good fit. It being part of the the Great Run series makes it even more attractive. It's been years since I took part in a running event of any sort so to go big would be awesome.
There’s also the Severn Bridge 10k on August 30th which is lovely. Obviously not sure if it’ll go ahead, but worth bearing in mind. 🤞🤞
The Severn Bridge! That's a scene-stealer for sure, I think the date is too early given this lockdown and our dates for possible travel. I rode over the bridge when taking part in a cycling event a couple of years ago, Amazing experience.
I’ve signed up for the 10k race at the New Forest marathon in mid September. Such a beautiful area to run in - I am hoping that life will be back to normal by then .

I hope like you that things get back to normal soon. Great to book an event though to help pull you along. The New Forest in early autumn sounds a wonderful challenge let's keep our fingers crossed that it goes ahead. Did you get your wobble board sorted? I use one regularly and rate using one, I saw others had other alternatives which I had not thought of which just goes to show the value of this forum, take care out there.
Thank you. Yes some great responses from everyone on the wobble boards. In the end I had my physio FaceTime appointment and was given exercises to do to strengthen hamstrings and glutes rather than improve balance. So I ended up buying a small gym ball for those. No doubt other exercises will follow this week!
