Forgot to post this pic from this morning’s chilly 35min recovery run around Madingley Hall. Now running 6 days per week, not doing any runs longer than 55mins, and finding my pace, cadence and form much improved. In my head, I’m still training for the 20mile Beast of the Beacons on 18th April, but expect that will be postponed. I’ll have to think of a creative way of recreating the challenge of 3,884ft elevation over 20 miles in 8 hours or less, within the travel and time constraints we’re now under. Maybe I could just run up and down the stairs indoors all day, then do a 1hour run around the Hall? Not quite the same somehow...

Another fine day
Well done on your consistency! Haha if you can do 3884 ft of stair climbing at home, you should get a medal, and so should your family for putting up with the racket! With your training you should be fully ready for whatever is next.
Beautiful, love the tree shapes against the blue sky. Not a picture that says 'Beast from the East'! Great resolve sticking to the plan! Mad idea to recreatevthe route indoors 🤣🤣🤣. I'd be so scared of slipping on the stairs ... 😱
Lovely pic, well done you, I went out did 6k this morning, had the very odd feeling I shouldn’t be out, so for some reason it was at a faster pace....🤷♀️, this time didn’t encounter a soul until I was on my way back, 4 dog walkers, one runner and a chap with a little tot who looked really confused when I gave them a jolly wave as I went past.....👋 😄🏃♀️
Finding elevation around this neck of the woods is hard...(not that I’m complaining) ........it’s a shame you can’t even go to Wimpole, where there are some useful (?) inclines....
Hoping we don’t get any further constrained as we need to do the Hoohaah virtual 10k on Sunday.........the dreadmill awaits in the corner of the garage....😱
