It is hard to believe how used to running with other people I am now when a few months ago I found it really hard after doing all my c25k on my own.
Tonight though I did a solo run as the girls couldn’t be bothered to go and being at home alone all week with only the cat for company has started to take its toll.
I had no great plan in mind other than to run, get home and enjoy it. I knew I was working hard as I was very sweaty even in the rain but I also felt comfortable. I headed around a few roads with small but steep hills and pushed hard on those the practiced my strides on the way down.
Made it home feeling strong but also feeling like I had put in a good workout and was then delighted to see garmin telling me I had a new 10k PB
Gonna run at the weekend but nothing set in stone yet other than to make myself go slower
