Look at the discrepancy in time for the same run between Vitality site and Strava. This isn’t the first time they haven’t counted a run that I’m pretty sure qualified, but this time was ridiculous! I’ve contacted them of course.

That’s ridiculous. I ran the distance in the time. Why would they do that?
I don't know much about it I'm afraid, but I can see from looking on Strava that the Vitality thing is using the elapsed time of your recorded run, so it doesn't take pauses into account. Because you stopped to take a few pics after starting the run on your watch, the run has not been counted. There may be something in the rules about this? How are the runs recorded?
Polar vantage v to Polar Flow, but they don’t have that on their list of trackers.
I was at Dunfermline parkrun this morning Flick, my official time which I accept was 33.58, however, the link to the Vitality Running World Cup has given me a time of 46.01,
46 minutes after I finished my run this morning I was in Dunfermline Bus Station waiting for a bus.

Did you forget to stop your watch or phone or whatever you were using to record the run?
The app at the end of the run this morning after I got my barcode scanned showed 4.70 kilometers, that was probably due to it not automatically starting at the start of the run, so I walked back to the bus station until it showed exactly 5K, turned it off, save, then the actual 5K I ran with the walk at the end was 37.30
When I got home I looked at My runs on the Vitality World Running app, it shows my 5K time as 46.01, the only thing that I can think off is when I was in the bus station I switch off the Mobile Data and went onto WiFi, that was around 46 minutes after I began the run.
At least its still fast enough to count
On"My Runs"it has registered as 5.01k as part of this second weeks goal of 10K, however, on the main Vitality Running World Cup Healthunlocked list I am still at 20 Kilometres ran, which is the same as yesterday, it should be 25.1K ran.
Nobody's runs from this weekend have appeared in the team totals as far as I can tell. No idea why!
I chased this up with them! I did 10k yesterday. It is picked up on my runs, was ticked as valid, added to weekly total etc, but nothing on Health Unlocked. They say that their engineer is looking into it. I nearly had a mishap yesterday! I tied my jacket around my waist as usual and it ended up around my ankles after about 8k. Fortunately I didn't trip and auto stop kicked in whilst I adjusted my attire! 🙄
Oh crikey BC. There's no limit to our creativity when it comes to 'ways to land on the IC'. Thank goodness your attempt failed!

If I had there wouldn’t be data. Abi has hit the nail on the head, they’ve used elapsed time, in other words they’ve added my pause times when I was crossing roads and taking photos

From a quick look it appears to me that you just need to do the first 3k in under 30 mins, then you can take as many pics as you like 😊😊😊

Luckily for you, only Saturdays and Sundays count. You can do what you like Monday to Friday 😍😍😍

Thanks Linda yes it does. I have already completed 8.44km out of my 10k goal. 🤣🤣. So tomorrow I shall run some more. I also ran yesterday . I actually forgot that the challenge was this weekend for two days.🤣🤣
Then last night I was looking at the VRWC site last night and then I realised. So this morning out again. Tomorrow I shall treadmill as the weather is going to be wet☔️☔️.

I just checked the website for mine and saw similar view to what you were showing! Had not spotted in your pic the run was there without the green tick ☹️. Just been on their website and I can see how this is frustrating.

Linda and Abi nailed it - they have taken the elapsed time. Because I stopped to take photos and paused my watchg, i thought only running time would count. Very annoying!
My results have been all incorrect I think ! I cut out all tracking except my Garmin...and it seems OK .
I have decided to ignore the site. I am still recording runs, none of which have been transferred to Health Unlocked team, but at least they have been accepted as valid. I guess, but don't know, that they will go to the overall national total. I got an initial 5k weekly target, have run 13k, and it still says "nearly there" 😊. No point intaking it seriously. That way lies madness! I think that leaving the connection in place, doing my planned runs to my satisfaction and seeing what comes out of it is going to have to suffice. Too many other things to get wound up about at present!
