Really pleased I managed to get beyond the 13.1 mile HM barrier, and got to 25k (15.5 miles). Also pleased I managed this with my left soleus issue which is slowing me down a bit. My target marathon is the Cambridge Boundary Run in 1st March, and today’s run was a recce if part of that course. I managed to fit in a bit of trail so muddy it had to be walked through, and saved that up for the 23k mark, as I do like a bit of a challenge.
More physio appointments will hopefully sort out that knotted soleus so I can push a bit further and harder next time...

That is terrific work, well done! I did 14 miles for my long run yesterday and it was the first time I had ever been further than the HM distance. It felt psychologically important and a teensy bit thrilling! I welcome those muddy trails when I have to walk a bit...
