Clermont Waterfront Parkrun

Hi VRBs, for those not on Strava I completed my first International Tourist Parkrun in Florida USA this morning🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ It’s a great course and I was made very welcome. I’d highly recommend it if you happen to be in the area😍

I got a PB and finished 1st in my ages group so I’m a very pleased Parkrunner today!😊

That's a very successful parkrun right there, congratulations on a great result, worth the journey 😍. My very first parkrun was in Canada - 7390km away from my home parkrun 😀

Thanks Cheekychipmunks! There were quite a few international runners there but I may have been from the furthest country🤔

I’ll remember that run for a long time🙂👍 The hosts were great and all the other runners very friendly. I was also 1st in my age group. That’s the first time that’s happened!😊

Thanks Over61! Sadly I’m coming back to UK next weekend so won’t be time for another Parkrun here. I’ve still got a 10K for Morunning to do so hopefully I’ll be doing that on Monday🏃‍♂️🤞
