I'm sure you can work out from the photo where I am! Since I'm in the area, thought I'd try the local ParkRun for a last minute easy run.
It was way busier than what I'm used to (probably around 700 runners compared to the 250 or so that I'm used to).
It's the first time that I've run one of these whilst aiming for a very easy pace throughout (I'm in my final day of tapering). I found it a really interesting experience to run in a group whilst holding back so much and I'm pleased that I had the discipline to do so. OK, I did speed up for a few overtakes and my pace crept up after a succession of them but I remembered the bigger picture and brought it down again.
Spent most of the run chatting to Aimee and Isla which was nice. Suppose really, Aimee was holding two conversations, one with Isla and one with me because Isla didn't speak to me (probably something to do with being three years old).
So, I've now done three ParkRuns.

Nice run at York Parkrun for you this morning SkiMondy, good photo, my beard WAS like yours until two weeks ago, but no longer, I trimmed it down from 12" to a quarter of an inch, so I'll have to wait a year until it gets nice and bushy again.
Right first time! It is a nice place to visit. Only thing is, I'm finding it a bit tricky walking past all the pubs without stopping for a pint (dehydration wouldn't be a good thing for tomorrow's run).
I think you'd also have trouble combining "run" with "flat"! Thankfully, I don't find the crowds a problem; it was just a bit tricky finding some space until the group spread out a bit. Also, I failed to recognise the finish funnel because it was much wider that what I'm used to.
