I will always love running Coventry 10k due to the fact that's it's around the war memorial park. There really is not much left of what a historic city it used to before World War II. The photographs I see of my grandparents and around that era depict such a different place to what it now is.
Anyway...this is supposed to be a run report not a history lesson. The park is flat which means it's a bit of a PB hunter course.
Which of course is one of the reasons I was there π. For those that know me you will know I'm pretty relentless in the pursuits of life πππ°π°π»π»π€π€ππ
Anyway having knackered my calf on some silly vineyard run with some culprits from here....yes you know who you are......I have been going quite steady and listening to advice (for a change)
Yeah well...its a race innit ππ so I gave it my best shot and hit 53mins with out having a heart attack. Great bit was getting back to the car and my brothers dog was proper glad to see me...piccy attached.. scuse his nuts...he has no shame ππ

Really well done to you, great time! Doggie was obviously very pleased too. There are a few Shih tzuβs in our family, cute dogs and they really understand runners π
