Coventry 10k

[Windoze]

I will always love running Coventry 10k due to the fact that's it's around the war memorial park. There really is not much left of what a historic city it used to before World War II. The photographs I see of my grandparents and around that era depict such a different place to what it now is.

Anyway...this is supposed to be a run report not a history lesson. The park is flat which means it's a bit of a PB hunter course.

Which of course is one of the reasons I was there 😂. For those that know me you will know I'm pretty relentless in the pursuits of life 😂😂🍰🍰🍻🍻🤕🤕🍔🍔

Anyway having knackered my calf on some silly vineyard run with some culprits from here....yes you know who you are......I have been going quite steady and listening to advice (for a change)

Yeah well...its a race innit 😂😂 so I gave it my best shot and hit 53mins with out having a heart attack. Great bit was getting back to the car and my brothers dog was proper glad to see me...piccy attached.. scuse his nuts...he has no shame 😂😂

Good! Pleased to hear that. Keep moving. I take my legs for a spin the day after a race. Just short and sweet, and slow.

Really well done to you, great time! Doggie was obviously very pleased too. There are a few Shih tzu’s in our family, cute dogs and they really understand runners 😂
