Soggy 10k

Hi guys, bet if you ran yesterday you got soaked just like I did. Enter the Eirias Park 10k with my running buddies and we were dressed as cats for Halloween, great fun really, but boy were we dripping. I celebrate my 66th birthday this week and running has made me feel maybe 35, can’t be bad for us all then. Have a happy running week everybody

You look 35!!! Eirias Park? My brother lives just down the road and I used to live in Penrhyn Bay then Lanrhos. If you're fairly local, you should try the Coast half marathon next April - starts on the prom there 🙂

I just looked - it's the same event organiser. I liked them - had a small 'family' feel 😍. Congratulations on making 10k in that weather though, bet it was windy too!

Oh wow! Good luck with that - I'll take a look at the route 🙂. I do hope the wind is in your favour for it (we had a headwind for the whole of the Coast HM because it was point to point all along the coast, no change of direction) 🤞

Check you out Ageless! Absolutely brilliant. 🐱 🎃 It was pretty mild as well as wet yesterday (although at PR we were fortunate and beat the rain) - bet you were soggy as can be! Well done though. 😀🏃‍♀️👍

You definitely are Ageless lass. I think we found running just at the right time to get fit post working life. Love your outfit but I can only guess how you felt after all that rain. 🐈🎃

Well done for your rainy 20k! The worst bit is afterwards I always find, when you are all dripping wet and cold.
