Just so delighted. It wasn’t easy and I was so glad to have my son with me. But we did it under 3 hrs which was my target and I’m so so pleased. Thanks everyone on here for your support. Two years ago this month I was a total newbie on couch25k and struggling to run for 1 minute and at 62 was concerned it was a bad idea!
Hope everyone else had a great time. I’ll do a proper race report when I have a functioning brain!! 😂🤣💕

Awesome, so pleased for you. I will be pleased if I manage mine in that time next Sunday, but my niggling knee says otherwise xxx
Super well done to you and your son, fab pic. 👍🏃♀️🏃♂️😎🏅💪👏
Look forward to the report.
The threatening rain, although wet to start, mainly held off at mine.......was a tad muddy, so glad I wore trail shoes.....some of the hills were quite a challenge!
Congratulations on your first half and within target too. Love the photo. I ran my first half with my son earlier this year and it was a fantastic thing to share - great memories made right there
Lovely photo! Well done to both of you👏🏅🏅 - I watched the coverage on tv and it looked amazing! Look forward to reading your full report when you have had a well earned rest!!👍🙂
That's brilliant! I did my first HM two weeks ago (same age as you}. I have to say you look if farrrrr better shape than me at the finish - I looked like a dying dog!
