Completed my first HM today. I definitely appear to have misplaced my left knee somewhere on the Southside of Glasgow. Managed to limp to the car and got home. The real pain started when I got into the bath....... OMG! I thought I’d applied Body Glide to those areas????
Still...... worth it all the same.

Congratulations to you K8nno on completing the Great Scottish Run, I was a spectator in George Square this morning seeing all the runners starting the 10K, however, I did not wait to see the HM start, when the last runner of the 10K passed I rushed to Queens Street Station, got the 10.30 train back home and got into the house to watch the Half marathon on TV, sorry about your injury in the south side, just rest and don't do any further runs until the injury is completely gone..
I also participate in great Scottish run 2019..done with my first HM.. I did applied bodyglide.. still I got chafing on my thighs..but not as bad as earlier I used to have..
Congratulations, great job... hope the chaffing isn’t so bad tomorrow, but you can soothe it a little by looking at that medal and knowing that you did it.
Woohoo!!! After a lot of stingy antiseptic cream, the burning has subsided. Also, a liberal spraying of some kind of deep freeze ointment and a bit of a walk, my knee has come back to life........Now, where’s the next event?
Congratulations! I hope your knee is returned soon enough. I think it may come in handy on your next run. I've also assigned your HM forum badge - Well done!
