I'll put it in my diary! At least only the swim is at Dorney (a very bring place to run or ride round), and I can confirm the first part of the ride is lovely. Go for it!

I used to swim for a club in my early teens!!! Distance tho, never speed. Our local pool is skanky, but due to be rebuilt soon, and I only ever do breast or backstroke. Maybe I should take some proper stroke lessons one winter.. but not in that skanky pool 🤣.

You better sign up lady - you've put it out there, no going back ... and it's in my calendar now 🤪.

lol.....Id love to do that. In my dreams I think. I used to live near to Windsor, so it would be fun to do this.

I just did my first mile swim today at Hever Castle, it was DISGUSTING, slushy, silty mud. The water was dark brown and you could see, nothing. In parts my hand went in the mud as it was shallow, yuck. I swore I'd only swim in the sea after that...! Not sure about that Bike ride, some interesting elevations.

...my reaction were it me would be...Dear God! Do I HAVE to do this!!!....

If it weren't a rather "politicised in living memory by a rather polarising PM" term I would certainly be calling you out "Iron Lady"...but will you settle for "Lady of Steel!"

I know the start and finish places well, enjoy both, visit them any chance I get - but I wouldn't even want to do that double by train or car in one day, let alone run etc!
