New Forest Half Marathon complete! It was an absolutely perfect day for running in the beautiful New Forest. My friend and I took it steady, incorporating a couple of loo stops and walking breaks. Official time of 2:48:37 - I'll take that!

I was there too, 10k last year and hm this year. It was a fab event, relaxed but well organised with a lovely route. I had no idea where we were going but it was varied terrain and very pretty! I may well be back again next year. Well done on your first hm and what a lovely hm for your first too.

I did the 10k last year as well (my first). Just love the New Forest course - it's so beautiful with so many great things to distract you when you're flagging! I think I may do it again next year too - maybe see you there! Well done you, too
