This time last year I struggled to run for 40 seconds, so feeling a bit of Impostor Syndrome now.
Today I planned to stretch my previous longest run of 10.6 km to 12 km by running from Wadebridge to Padstow (8.3 km which I have run one-way) and back part of the way, by keeping my cadence down to 140. At 12 km my brain said "this is such agony, why not keep going?"
So I did the whole 16.6 km (not a pretty sight at the end and sooo slow) but I bluddy well did it! Right now, I'm glued to the sofa (but I did my stretches).
I do feel nervous wearing a 10 mile badge, but I won't do when I report on a HM in 2020. Hello, everyone !
