The Longevity Blueprint.

I have been searching for the answers.

Perhaps this top trainer in presentation collaboration with Mindvalley have found lots of them.

The above is being presented as an 8 week quest starting 01/07/19 by Mindvalley/Ben Greenfield.

All the detail is presented under a free Masterclass by Vishen and Ben.Its a one hour presentation and with much more reading for the interested.

Of course if you want to pursue it, the cost is 399$ on a 10 day return basis.

You become a life member and can pursue the quest with the support of the group or in your own time.

It is not just what to do, it is why.

The initial free master class starts by dispelling the five myths/lies about fitness and training methods.

It then goes on to flesh out the four pillars of fitness, health ,beauty(posture, etc) and longevity.

They flesh out what is contained in the 8 week quest.

I am not on commissionπŸ™ˆ and have watched through twice the master class and researched the two principal leaders.

Very transparent.

Ben Greenfield is openly pursuing the application of NAD’s anti agent meds. That is not part of the Longevity Blueprint.

So much is striking a chord and in line with the latest medical science and indeed in conflict with tried and tested traditional beliefs.

I am personally at a junction, left Achilles injury,

and have being picking up amazing bits on the magic forum,so to be able to examine a holistic piece of work by a top Spartan athlete and scientist in bio mechanics and this subject seems a gift.

Lots more work for me to do but it’s perhaps taking me somewhere.πŸ€”πŸ™ˆ

Some of it is a no brainer.

I am a novice that needs to find a holistic, sustainable, proven pursuit, free from research exhaustion πŸ˜….

Keep on keeping on.

Hi Tbae, good post from you again, you are not such a novice now, both of us have been running for over a year,

This morning I had a very short run along the prom at Helensburgh, just over a year since I graduated, I did not want to rerun the 30 minute runs of last year as I plan to run a 5K locally tomorrow morning.

I hope you are keeping well. 😊 πŸƒ

Ben Greenfield has a lot of common sense advice about diet and exercise. However I think he starts going off piste a bit when he’s talking about the earth’s magnetic field charging mitochondria. 400 dollars is a lot of money for what could be a mix of established knowledge and pseudo science.

Did not see any of that magnetic field stuffπŸ™ˆ and although important, strictly diet is not part of this.πŸ€”

Anything I have read is hard experience, known medical science, not pseudoπŸ€”, a mix of established practised knowledge which is our reality and norm.πŸ€”

He may well be further off piste with IV NAD’s.πŸ€”

Off piste.... more like ski touring!

My philosophy has always been become your own expert. If anyone makes a claim for something I trace it back to the source research. Then see who funded it.

p.s. I think Flyingred was unimpressed with the website typos, not yours.

Thanks SL.

Tbh I must recheck, too busy comparing link facts and my own experience.πŸ€”πŸ€£

What do you expect from a Scot(me) an American and Malaysian, when it comes to the Oxford dictionary.πŸ™ˆπŸ€£.

Believe me ,I am a novice in this field at 76 and with the help of the magic forum links, anything I have read on here is very much in line with Ben Greenfields hard earned experience and indeed Mindvalley quest teaching techniques and their overall credo.πŸ€”The exception perhaps being some of the traditional fitness myths.

Early days but too late for me to become a self made expert.

Need something holistically put together that I do and understand why I am doing it.

Reminds me SL, the definition of an expert, ex is a has been and spurt is a drip under pressure.πŸ™ˆπŸ€£πŸ€£

Thank you for responding , appreciate that,

You said BG has a lot of common sense and although he is only 37 and me with a 76 year old body I can relate to what he has found out through putting himself through very unique extreme stuff and made some interesting conclusions on traditional fitness and aligned it why that is soπŸ€”

As I said some of the links I have followed up on here and pursued is mind blowing and certainly some of BG is also.

Keep trucking and keep posting,I might get free membership.πŸ€”πŸ€£

Thanks for posting the link. I'm dubious about the formula the website uses to hook people in by suggesting you're getting something at no cost. There are a couple of typos in the text (on the linked website) which didn't impress me either.

Before you lay out your $400, try reading 'Spontaneous Healing : How to Discover and Enhance Your Body's Natural Ability to Maintain and Heal Itself' by Dr Andrew Weil. It's available used from Abe Books, for less than Β£3 and presents a holistic approach to healthy living. I'm not being paid commission either.

Thanks and sorry about the spelling errors, holistic and collaboration.πŸ™ˆ.

Need to start using spell check.πŸ‘

Perhaps I should not be injuring myself in the first instance.πŸ€”

I think that’s maybe where I am at.πŸ€”

Apologies, not your typos but on the mindvalley.com website! (I've edited my previous post to make it clearer!). I take no notice of typos on social media/fora but on a commercial website I wonder what else they might have overlooked. :)

No excuses for me either FR.

I will have a revisit and also follow up your recommendation.

Thank you as always.
