Shout out for The Race Organiser

I don't have much running news at the moment, but would like to give a shout out to The Race Organiser - I emailed to ask them about cancelling/deferring/transferring my 10K race in September and they replied immediately, offering a full refund up to 2 weeks before or a transfer to any other event (without deducting charges) up to a week before. How generous is that? Unlike Virgin sport whose T&C's say hard luck at any point (although elsewhere they do make mention of deferring to the following year up to a month before the race, but no refunds or transfers). Well done The Race Organiser - and thank you! These events aren't cheap, and injury can't always be predicted.

Thanks for this Linda - good to know there are some decent folk out there, although I suspect they will always be the exception rather than the rule. I have made a mental note of their name!!😀👍
