Rouge Trails and whatnot

It’s not a race or anything but it was a beautiful day and I got a few pics in to share. The trail segments today were quite short due to my fading phone battery, general lack of direction through the bogs and reliance on gps to get back to my car after straying off the paths multiple times 🙂. So I added some time running around the town streets and then some track loops closer to home.

It was quite nice to get out. Missed my run pals though - they all ran down to see the Cherry Blossoms downtown. Could not make that work. I enjoyed the trails but I do need to improve my gps map skills got off trail a few times, cuz when you see a big hill you have to run down it and see where it goes.

So true 😂...it was just begging to be run down. I'm not sure how good I would be if I had to rely on my ability to read a gps map but that could be part of the fun, I suppose....getting lost in the woods 😁

Yeah I did not realize how sketchy google maps gets in some spots under tree cover. To much of a city boy still I guess

Thanks Lav The weather was great and the mossies were not out yet, so it was quite ideal. Wish I could have stayed out a bit longer though.

Thanks Tbae - The track was ok for me. I was really just feeling guilty for not doing my full trail run - was not feeling it for some reason, so I made up for some of it with the track on the way home

Thanks Abi - it was a beautiful spot I've been meaning to get to for some time. Next time I will try to plan better and spend some more time out there.
