It's time to start off another round of seasonal speed spectaculars!
We'll be running for FIVE WEEKS all through May - wahey!!!!

Yes please - fits in well with the ‘Summer of Speed’ that my running club has planned. One of my targets is a sub 25min 5k, and with a 5k club race tomorrow night I might just get ahead of myself - 🤞

Hoping to improve my 5k time over the summer but will probably go for 1 mile for the speed challenge - need to get some practise in for the relay race my son and I are doing in August 😁

I’m on week 2 of a plan to increase my speed over the summer, ahead of upping my mileage again before Beachy Head 10k in the Autumn.

I’ll give it a pass considering the marathon in the 5th of May I’ll be in taper and then in bed 
I might do something towards the end of May if I recovered , but let’s not plan on it

Go on then. I have a HM right in the middle of that so I'm sure my speed will be vairiable each week, However, the goal I have had since completeing C25k is to run a sub 25min 5k. Strava says 25:02 is my current PB. Tantalisingly close.
Im interested if I can fit the plan on to my week. Would love to go a bit faster over 5km. And I lovedon't Billy Whizz... one of my favourite Beano characters😀😀
Only one run per week needed, and you don't have to run every week either!

I am always running hills but you need your fast runs too. All grist to the mill 💪😃
You are right of course. I am pushing to edge up a bit quicker. But no PRs in sight right now. My miles have dropped off since the last race too. I need to spool them back up again.
Yeah go on then, count me in I seem to be doing nowt but fast runs at the mo. Well, I say “fast 😁
