Just a quick post on the gear for Around the Bay in case anyone was considering it next year 😁 It was actually quite nicely finished. Included were a Running Room long sleeve shirt, a vented race hat 🧢 and the medal.

Great bling! Do they have distanced other than 30k?

Yes there is a 5k and a two and three person relay , they already have the 2020 registration page up: bayrace.com/register.htm

The only thing I found a bit costly is their same day pickup fee of $30-$40. Seems a bit much on top of the race fee.

The 30 is a nice balance between the HM and Mara distances 😁

Yes, it is quite a bit on top! I have family nearby. You did a special year 125 so extra nice!

It looks much better than what l get as a lone runner. For my recent HM distance l got my own moral support (very subdued) and two large glasses of wine (self sponsored). Wife asked what took me so long to get back home. Apparently l was late in buying some food for the guests who were on their way to us. How foolish of me.
