Today I had to admit defeat and go back on my monthly Zoladex jab because my Endometriosis has just become insufferable an I’m hoping therefore this means with more consistency I can really focus on my training for the London Marathon for Macmillan Cancer Support, without worrying whether it would be a good day or Bad day
So on Sunday I have a fund raising stall with my raffle, running inspired jewellery and some lovely craft things by my mum to try and get my fundraising back on track. It almost feels like that’s the hardest thing at the moment and I’m so worried I won’t make it. But I’ll remain positive and push on. I’ve something planned every month so keep your fingers crossed
If you’re interested in keeping up to date with my progress, fundraising, running or with the Zoladex, or Semtex as a friend has kindly christened it, you can follow me on Instagram RunSjRun2019. And you can guarantee I’ll be popping up on here regularly too

Good luck with your stall Idizzy! Your wee charms are such a lovely idea. Oof London marathon training is tough enough without any extra complications, you're clearly made of strong stuff 💪😊 —I don't think we need to be crossing any fingers at all!
Hello! And a huge, London-Marathon-tastic welcome to the forum!!!!
The jewellery is beautiful, hope you have a great day tomorrow!!
And good luck with your future fundraising and training - kudos to you, particularly as you are dealing with horrible horrible endometriosis on top of it all! Best wishes to you, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of you on here 😊😊😊
Hi there! I feel for you - I had Zoladex for endometriosis many, many years ago. At the time I couldn't run without ending up with crippling pain to the point of almost passing out. There was so much growth I had a couple of Zoladex implants to shrink it and then I had my endometriosis lasered off via a laparoscopy. Fortunately I was then able to have two children and now have a Mirena coil which apparently helps prevent regrowth as well as being a contraceptive.
Are you planning on surgery? It was a life changer for me. I can't recommend it highly enough.
Do you sell your jewellery on line? I'm thinking some running ladies on here might like to drop Christmas present hints to their other halves...
