Gor blimey guvnor that was a tough one! The hills!!! They were neverending! Very pretty route through leafy country lanes though. Found my second 10k race quite hard work but happy with my time - 1 hour 4 mins. Two minutes faster than the last one! Yippee!
Met Runsome briefly at the start, which was awesome π
Looking forward to my next 10k race at Bexhill next weekend, a nice flat one π

Hi MutleyShuffle it was very nice meeting you today well done on your PB and great photo of a finish with a smile even after all those continuing massive hillππ
Your tights are super! π Leafy country lanes sounds lovely, even with hills. And a great time, I wonder how speedy you'll be in the flat course coming up π²
Well done you! That's a fab time, especially with hills. You don't look in the least bit daunted or tired - positivey flying along in that lovely happy photo
Well done on a great run - and taking time off your PB on a hilly run!πππ½ββοΈπͺ Enjoy your flat race next weekend...could be anothe PB!π
Well done. Plenty of hill in that part of the world. I did a 10k not far away from this one (Northiam 2 Bodium) and that was pretty much up-hill all the way. So extra bonus points for managing a PB to boot!
Will be doing the Poppy run next Sat, but have elected for the 5k only, as I wanted to work on my speed for a bit before rebuilding my distance.
Thanks Whatsapp π I did the Rother Valley one too, that was my first 10k race. So both mega hilly ones! Looking forward to a nice flat Poppy run! Good luck on your 5k πππ
Hell of a first 10k that one. First one I did was flat - although it was really hot.
Yes, this will possibly be my last run of November as I take a short break before starting HM training in December. Good luck to you too. Fingers crossed for good weather!
I am starting HM training in December too! Hoping to do the Hastings Half, although maybe that's not the best first HM to try, I have heard it is hellishly hilly! I see there is another up the road at Eastbourne, maybe I should try that one. Got plenty of time to decide!
The Eastbourne HM is the one I'm training for. The Hastings HM has a much bigger turnout - due, I think, because of its reputation as being quite challenging.
I did Eastbourne last year and loved it. I don't fancy the Hastings one myself as I am not a great lover of hills.
Just saw the great picture! Well done on this race too. You are totally amazing. I think Iβm just too chicken to go for 10ks. I keep threatening to do it maybe next year! π€π€
