Sunrise run

This morn was an early run with the group at 6:30am to catch the first sunrise of fall. Never done this before. It was quite nice. We did around 13k there and back. Was a bit cool at around 9 degrees and we had a good breakfast afterwards of pastries and fruits 🍌 🍉 .

It was quite nice and no sooner did we take our pics, then the sun was fully up and bright, or so it seemed ☀️

Nice time to run - looks like a lovely cool morning. Good pic of the group too 🙂. I like this time of day best but not got out at that time recently..

Yes the temp was quite nice and I ran better for it I think. I also like the earlier mornings. I normally run earlier too, but never before the sun actually comes up

Yes, it was great to see the sun come up from a run trail with a group of fellow runners.

I’ve done a predawn run but not for ages. It’s great being out to see in the new day 🌥

When we get icy mornings our running gets put back til the trail has thawed

It was great to be out there at that hour. I’m not sure what this group does in the icy weather as I only joined in April, but I’ve seen pics of them running through underground parking garages in February
