First pre 6am run

Staying in a b&b in NWales for one night. Woke at 4.15 and couldn't get back to sleep (doesn't bode well for all the driving I have to do today) so was up and out very early for me this morning. Cheeky 5k by the sea with barely even a breeze this morning! Lovely. Bit short of the GSR distance I'm trying to work up to, but every little counts hopefully πŸ˜€. Have a lovely day everyone πŸ™‚πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Love the morning runs. Yes even in the winter. It sets you up for the day. Especially if you have somewhere lovely like the view in the picture to enjoy to yourself.

Just wonderful! It's a great thing isn't it this running when you fancy and where Just open the door and you're off. Lovely views as your reward, and peace and quiet I bet.

I am off to the seaside this weekend and plan to run!

I drove by again about 8.30 by which time the sun was up in a blue, blue sky and the water was all sparkly. I used to live there and know that those sort of days don't come along all the time ... I felt very privileged today :)

It's very special running by the sea - enjoy your weekend. :)

Flying visit indeed! Quick dinner with brother and family, up early next day for a run, then drove to Cheshire for family funeral, then drove back to South Bucks. Pretty exhausting day, but the run was wonderful :)
