Felt so good to have the air on me again and to be out in DAYLIGHT. Hurrah.... the Winter and running in the dark is fun but that felt like it went on forever.
Heres to warmth, bare skin and new life,
Happy Panthering

It's really warm here now but lots of Italians still go out running in their padded jackets and hats. I start melting just looking at them. I think if I were to go out in shorts I'd be arrested (though the conditions are perfect for them).
When my sister lived in Italy ( and she is going back shortly too to teach English hopefully) she said that everyone wore full on coats till it got really hot. She said she wore hers for as long as possible as she wanted to blend in!!!! But she was baking.
Fantastic, I managed to get to capris last Saturday, which was a very, very puddly, muddy parkrun (fabulous!) sadly back to full length tights today and Saturday (mud and cold wind etc.,) but the shorts and vest will definitely be out next week..........I shall be in the Balearics! Hurrah! Running along the beach front promenade.......oh yes! .....🏃♀️😎☀️ Boy am I looking forward to that........ooohhhhh, can’t wait.......excited! ....(and I don’t care if it rains, it’s still going to be warmer than here!) ..... and from then on it should be shorts o’clock.........at last!
Breaking the shorts out in Spain soon if all goes to plan... Walking from Pamplona to Leon 20km per day with Asics HM Plan runs every other evening 5/8/16k!
Will post to Strava mainly as that's automatic from my watch to Garmin Connect to Strava. Don't usually add non running stuff to Strava but will add hikes as well as runs whilst in Spain.
Now, how to tell Lady Lordi that I'm off gallavanting across Navarre, Rioja, Palencia and Castilla y Leon for a few weeks? Wish me luck...
She's coming round to the idea of c25k I think. Has mentioned doing a "test" jog a few times! So who knows! I'm trying to tone down the evangelical preaching about running so as not to do her head in though.
Any excuse for pancakes and Maple Syrup gets us out of the house 😀. Both our kids are home from school for March Break this week. Yesterday we went to get pie (apple crumble and banana cream) for Pi day! So a low calorie week all around🙂
