Run Camp :-)

Had a great weekend away in the New Forest at the Marathon Talk (Podcast) Run Camp. Some great running over the weekend (30k+) although a bit chilly at times! Started with a local Parkrun, then some interval training and then a night run. Today was a 10 mile run where you had to set off on the planned route to get back exactly at 12:00... trouble was they put tape over your watches!! So each person had to judge how tough the route would be and thus decide their own starting time.... I somehow got back at 11:50. :-)

Great company and running related talks and having Jo Pavey (5 time Olympian) there for the weekend made it even better. She joined in all the running activities and just blended in with the rest of us... truly a lovely person.... but aren't all runners. :-)

That sounds really fun. I just started listening to the podcast a few weeks ago, and am enjoying it.
