Southsea Poppy Run

Hello all, thank you all for your Pom Pom shaking, it really helped this morning. I have posted on the Bridge to 10k Forum so I will keep this short.

Our group of 3 held our run on the Billy Trail on Hayling Island this morning. UpTheStanley and I running 10k and Oldgirlruns running 5k. It was lovely to come across someone else running it too, and we wished each other luck as we passed..

We all met at the end in time to observe 2 minutes silence by the waterside in the car park., and then have a nice cup of coffee before returning back home.

Oh my time, 1:15.38, with PBs for this route in both directions. A good run and an excuse to do very little for the rest of the day.

No need to respond if you already have on the Bridge 😉

The three of us are, by the way, a properly constituted and legitimate “support bubble”!

I managed to keep my run under 55 minutes, but it was a bit of a struggle for no particular reason 🙄

Thank you, a bit slower than my 10k PB in Southsea, but with the weaving between puddles, and walking past 2 horses it wasn’t surprising.

The last time we wore these tops, we were at Stratford-upon-Avon. Did eldest kitten get to play the Last Post on his bugle at Uni on Sunday?

Too early for Christmas Katnap! I saw a tree in someone’s window on Monday 😱
