Fly by New Year's Day

Does anyone else look at Strava's Flybys? I think it's hilarious! Here is a screen capture of most of the population of Hove doing double parkrun with me on New Year's Day

That is awesome. The video was absolutely hilarious watching their little avatars cruising, especially when they all clustered and were doing laps (I assume the parkrun). All this strava talk on all the forums has almost convinced me to switch but I'm loyal to a fault so would feel like I was cheating on Runkeeper

you can always use both just use tapiriik.com/ and it will sync your runkeeper runs to strava

I don't usually see very many people on it, but there was one time when I was out on my bike and I got to find out who the man was I'd been drafting behind for several km 😆

errr...well i use it to see where I lose time and gain time compared to others in races.

And to see how far that guy/girl has run who sprinted past me! (obviously, they are just doing a little 5k while I will be out on the long run)

I love looking at strava flybys, but I have never seen anything as funny as that!

it guess it helps to have two parkrun's so close together some of us had to drive to do a double on new years day

I had to take a 'scenic route' to the second one so I wouldn't get there too early and get cold. It's a hard life

I love the flybys! Although none of mine have ever been anywhere near as impressive as yours! I've learnt new routes and got in contact with other local runners as a result. It's one of the best things about Strava. 😀
