My marathon training is going ok. Got a 28k pencilled in for tomorrow. Dunno where I am going yet. Out the door and just see where my legs take me.
Up to date with my runs which is a relief 😃

Glad to hear it! I have a fairly fixed route for my long runs, as it has little traffic and can easily be adjusted up to marathon length. I suspect your approach makes the long runs that bit more fun.
Training is still good. My main worry is the weather, and with two weeks to go I'm watching the forecast avidly (if futilely). We've had a lovely flat, calm sea for over a week, then yesterday - huge waves! Giant white horses!! Quelle horreur!!! Merde. 
On the plus side, you got a chance to practise swimming in horribly huge waves, so that they're not a complete shock to the system the next time you experience them
Training last week went well. I decided to drop one of my runs, as I was doing a trail run on Saturday. Unfortunately the race organizers misled me, posting a YouTube video about the wonderful conditions for regular running shoes. Not at all! It was slimy and muddy, and I could hardly see where I was going due to the sun in my eyes. My eldest did really well, and finished 13 minutes ahead of us. I'm beginning to suspect that trail running is more his thing than road running. One good thing that came out of all this was that I didn't tire myself out as much as expected, so I went for that fourth run yesterday morning after all.
Thank gawd no sea is involved. I don't envy you one bit! 😱 A swell would be a frightening prospect.
